Readers Love Miz Fibz's Sandwiches

is definitely the favorite place to buy a sandwich in Barrington for Patch readers.

First, the Kent Street eatery got 43 percent of the votes in this week’s Readers’ Choice poll, which ended this morning at 9 am.

Then Miz Fibz received all the comments from readers about the restaurant, operated by Vickie Lacks and Scott Olsen. Here are many of them:

Miz Fibz is by far my favorite restaurant in Barrington. Wonderful food, perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, always creative. The decor and ambience are delightful. Miz Vicki and Scott make everyone feel welcome and a part of the family. Truly a place that fosters community as well as really fine food at very reasonable prices. Food for body and soul!

Delicious food in a delightful atmosphere! Great customer service and Vicki, Scott and helpers always remember what we like. All meals and treats are terrific and reasonable. Just had lunch there today and are "regulars." The catering has always been phenominal for various events and sized parties as well. I like how they continuously give back to our community in various ways too. Thanks MIZ FIBZ!

Miz Fibz has the feel of a European bistro. The sandwiches are great, as are other items that make it a true deli rather than just a sandwich shop. I have never eaten anything there that wasn't excellent. They also do takeout, and we have had them cater for us with great results. Vicky will work with you.

Gotta tell you.. As a music producer for films and record companies, I've been all over the world for sandwiches, soups, entrees, and bistro style fine dining. None, seem to have the whole combination of all, with consistency, quite as well as Miz Fibz. I'm in RI for good now, and you'l be seeing me quite often as a regular.

For devotees of Prince's Hill Deli, have you tried Miz Fibz? You'll feel "at home" quickly. There is a varied menu with frequent tasty specials. Vicki (Miz Fibz} is an ex-cellent and innovative cook and is most accommodating to special needs or requests. Servings are generous and attractively presented. I've become a "regular."

Lacks was especially "overwhelmed" by the comments from her customers.

"We do have the best customers," she said. "I'm thrilled. It's amazing."

Someone can take the time to vote, Lacks said, but to take even more time to sit down and write a comment shows the loyalty of their customers.

"We want to thank our loyal customers," said Scott. "And we'd love to have more best customers."
