6th Annual Members' Sunset Picnic

WHERE: Blithewold Mansion, Gardens, & Arboretum

Blithewold wishes to thank you, our Members, for your continuing support by playing Host for you at our 6th Annual Members’ Picnic. Join us for an evening filled with live music, lots of fun activities, and great food and drink! There will be something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Or you could just relax and take in the gorgeous views of Narragansett Bay and the grounds, not to mention the awesome spectacle of the sun sliding to the horizon over the Bay. If that’s not quite enough, you might enjoy a stroll along the many paths, checking out what’s new since your last visit.

Bring your own picnic, or, if you prefer something different in the food department, purchase food provided by Paco’s Tacos Mobile Mex. Blithewold will provide complementary beverages; and there will be a limited amount of alcoholic beverages provided by Newport Storm Brewery.

Activities will include:

Lawn games of croquet and badminton

We encourage you to bring friends, chairs, blankets, and that picnic lunch—or an appetite for something special from our excellent food vendor.

Member admission to the Sunset Picnic is free! Non-member guests are $5.00 per person. Reservations are required.
