The Art of Couture Bridal Bouquet

Known for creating some of the most stunning bridal bouquets in all of Rhode Island, Semia Dunne of Flowers by Semia will be bringing her talent to teach a bridal bouquet intensive. During this workshop, Semia will address design trends, composition, color theory and the finer points of integrating contrast and movement in couture bridal bouquets. Basics of flower selection, stem placement and the art of hand tying will also be part of the discussion while you work with an array of garden roses, and locally grown summer blooms in the creation of your own bouquet.

This class will be held at one of Rhode Island’s most acclaimed wedding destinations, Blithewold Mansion and Gardens in Bristol, RI. This stunning venue, and it’s surrounding gardens. There will also be an opportunity to see some historic and modern photographs from brides who have made Blithewold their wedding destination of choice.
