Mt. Hope Student Named Most Outstanding in Girls State Program

Five students from recently attended the Bristol Rotary dinner to speak on their experience attending the American Legion's Boys/Girls State program this past June. The Rotary provided a donation to help support the program. In the photo is Ryan Burke, Audra Morrow, Cris Salzano, Theo Maskola, Samatha Egge, and Legion representative Dave Silvia.

Audra Morrow, a senior at Mt. Hope, was selcted as the most outstanding graduate of this years Girls State program and attended the Legion's National Program in Washington, DC in late July. Morrow was one of the few girls lucky to shake President Obama'a hand as he addressed the students in the White House.
