Sidewalks In Warren Are Still Dangerous
After nearly getting run over this past weekend due to the sidewalk conditions, I know something needs to be done.

I had a near tragic accident this past Sunday while traveling on the East side sidewalk of Metacom Avenue. The rough sidewalk threw my wheels to the left, striking the high dirt mound and flipped my scooter onto its side.
I fell onto Metacom Avenue looking at a vehicle bearing down at me. Luckily the driver was alert and stopped and then others came to my assistance.
As these people helped me up and back on to my scooter, the embarrassment I felt had me angered that the sidewalks in this town are in that bad of shape. I could have been killed. As I have voiced my concerns trying to make people aware of the dangers that the people using the sidewalks have to face, our town and state officials do nothing.

No joke, a state official stated it would be cheaper to deal with a law suit rather than spend money to make repairs. I know I will be taking that statement into the voting booth this year. To those people that stopped to help me, I want to say thank you, as I do not know your names.
