Warren DMV Makes Helpful Changes

After posting a blog and writing a letter to the DMV and Governor's Office on Disability, several changes were made to the Warren DMV.

A few weeks back, I made a comment as to the poor condition of the DMV office in Warren- especially for handicap people. I followed my blog post with a letter to the DMV and the Governor's Office on Disability.

Having business to tend to, I had to go to the DMV last Wednesday and to my surprise, I found that the wall had been taken down which opened up the room a great deal. Benches were places against the wall and the electric number counter (which was wasting taxpayers money) had been disconnected.

I found this a great improvement and thankful that my concerns reached someone and that they took the proper effort to correct the problems.

Though I never did receive any communications to the people I addressed, I felt my concerns were heard and addressed. Sometimes writing a letter can address an issue itself, even in Rhode Island.
