Bristol Art Museum Presents Awards to 'Art al Fresco' Artists

Winning artwork included a photograph of Colt State Park and a painting of Second Beach.

On Sunday July 31, the Bristol Art Museum presented awards to the winners of the fifth annual "Art al Fresco" on the fence at . 

This year the outdoor art show, with more than 33 participating artists from the Bristol Art Museum and the Portsmouth Art Guild, attracted many visitors. 

Paulette Carr acted as juror and Sheila Clark Lundy presented the awards (left to right) to Rita Heymann, who won first prize for her watercolor of "Second Beach at Sunset"; Bob Benoit, who won second prize for his hand made glass bowl and to Judith Gardiner, who received an honorable mention for her photograph of "Queen Anne's Lace at Colt Park".
