Bristol Resident Wins 'I Luv RI' Photo Contest
A Bristol woman won the January 2012 photography contest put on by Rhode Island Monthly.
A Bristol resident has taken the top prize for the January 2012 "I Luv RI" photography contest.
According to a Business Wire article, Katie Gendreau's photograph titled “Rough Surf at Sunrise” won for the month of January and will appear in Rhode Island Monthly magazine.
The photograph was taken of waves crashing over rocks in Jamestown. According to the contest website, the photograph will be featured in all Washington Trust branches in Rhode Island and Gendreau will receive a Rhode Island goodie basket and one of twelve exclusive Rhode Island experiences.
