Bristol Land Conservation Trust Spring Birding Walk
Discover the beauty of springtime migration with the Bristol Land Conservation Trust (BLCT)! Join renowned birding expert Lauren Parmelee, Senior Director of Education at the Audubon Society of Rhode Island, for a 90-minute guided birding walk at Mount Hope Farm on Saturday, May 2, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. Spring is peak migration season and you never know what incredible sights and sounds await! Whether you're a seasoned birder or a curious beginner, Lauren’s expertise and enthusiasm will make spotting birds fun and rewarding.
We will meet at the far end of the Mount Hope Farm main parking lot, 250 Metacom Ave., Bristol, RI. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear, and bring binoculars if you have them. The fee is $15 per person, or a maximum of $25 per family. BLCT members attend for free. Become a BLCT member that day and enjoy the benefit of free events. Payment options are cash, check, or credit card via PayPal. The rain date is Sunday, May 3.
