EP Man Allegedly Sent Obscene Pics, Threats to Teen Girl
Anthony Stravato has previously been charged with mutilating and killing a family cat, and a host of other charges across three towns.

An East Providence man charged last year with killing a family cat now faces cyberstalking charges after allegedly harrassing a 15-year-old girl over the Internet, eastbayri.com reports.
Anthony Michael Stravato, 24, of 11 Chedell Drive, was charged in Warren last week with cyberstalking, cyber harassment, intimidation of a witness and electronically disseminating indecent material to minors. He allegedly sent “disturbing” messages to a teen girl in Warren that spoke of mutilating animals, and included threeats and an obscene photo, according to Deputy Warren Police Chief Joseph Loiselle. Stravato also allegedly sent messages to a friend of the girl’s, threatening him if he talked.
Stravato was held at the Adult Correctional Insitutes following his arraignment. It is not his first run-in with the law. Last October, he was charged with killing a family cat by kicking it, cutting out its eye, beating it with a log and setting it on fire, all reportedly in an attempt to impress a girl at school.
