The 4th of the July Patriotic Exercises take place July 4, at Colt Memorial School in Bristol at 8:30 am, followed by the annual Military, Civic & Firemen's parade stepping off at 10:30 from the intersection of Chestnut and Hope Streets. The parade proceeds south on Hope until it turns left on High, following High and ending at the reviewing booth near the Town Common.
