Bristol hosts a day of holiday activities culminating with the Grand Illumination of the tree in front of the Burnside Building on Hope Street. There is musical entertainment from 4:15 to 4:45 pm, followed by the "Pre Grand Illumination" show with music and entertainment, until shortly before 6 pm, when the Grand Illumination of the town's tree and downtown lighting takes place.
St. Michael's Church across Hope Street will have a Live Nativity as well.
