Admission is free today, thanks to the Citizens Bank Foundation. The Environmental Education Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm. Activities today include:
-Spot the American Flag: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Spot all 10 American flags in the exhibit hall and get an 4th of July prize to take home.
-Nature Craft: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
-Nature Story: 1:30 p.m.
-Nature walk: 3:00 p.m. (weather permitting)
Special event: Big Night for Salamanders
• Children’s program on Salamanders: 10:30-11:15am (there is a fee for this program)
• Book signing: 11:15-12:00pm (no fee)

Sarah Marwil Lamstein, author of Big Night for Salamanders, has the solution. Join Sarah for a
presentation about the nature of salamanders and the role humans can play in their survival. After the presentation Sarah will sign copies her book Big Night for
Salamanders, available in the Audubon Society of Rhode Island Nature Shop.
Registration for 10:30 am children’s program is required as space is limited. Fee for children’s program: $5 per member child/ $7 per non-member child. There is no fee
or registration is required for the book signing.
