RWU: Mt. Hope Grad Gives Lecture on Renaissance Armor

The Bristol Art Museum and Roger Williams University will sponsor a talk by Jonathan Tavares from the Metropolitan Museum of Art . "The Artistic Legacy of Renaissance Armor"  presentation will be held in the School of Architecture and
Art.

Jonathan, a Bristol resident graduated from Mt. Hope High School, Roger Williams University and is currently studying for his Ph.D in Decorative Arts at Bard College, NYC. He will talk on the importance of armor during this period for its  artistic merit and value as well as a necessity for warfare.
