Screening of Horror Movie "Inkubus" at RWU

Horror film enthusiasts will gather at Roger Williams University for a special preview screening of the highly anticipated horror film “Inkubus.” The movie will be presented as part of “Behind the Camera Lens,” a special program that will include a discussion and Q & A session with director Glenn Ciano and producer Chad A. Verdi, as well as a special appearance by actor Robert Englund (“A Nightmare on Elm Street;” “Freddy vs. Jason”).

Created by the East Greenwich, Rhode Island-based Woodhaven Productions, “Inkubus” tells the story of a skeleton crew working the final shift of a soon-to-be demolished police station. The night takes a gruesome turn when the demon, Inkubus – played by Englund –calmly walks into the station holding the severed head of a murdered girl andis seeking revenge on one of the officers. The film’s screenplay was penned by Carl V. Dupre of “Hellraiser: Hellseeker” and “Hellraiser: Hellworld,” and was filmed in Cranston, Rhode Island.

The program will take place at 10:30a.m. in the Mary Tefft White Cultural Center, located in the University Library at One Old Ferry Road, Bristol. The program is free and open to the public.

The “Inkubus” preview is part of FLICKERS: The Rhode Island International Horror Film Festival, running Oct. 27-30 at locations throughout the state.
