"The Good Woman of Setzuan"

This performance of Bertolt Brecht's "The good Woman of Setzuan" is part of RWU's Performing Arts Main Season Series II. 

It is a comic satire of serious intent, a fantasy morality tale with music set in a China of Brecht's imagination.  It asks how the abstract idea of goodness can survive the business of living in a world of economic necessity and social injustice.  Does good require evil to survive?
