This members meeting of the Portsmouth Artists Guild features guest artist Deborah Baronas, who will talk about her work, the multidisciplinary exhibit, "Warren Mill Project."
This exciting work includes art, music, mill sounds and a 20 minute documentary movie that was funded by a grant from the RI Council for the Humanities, 2009-2010. This exhibit, on display at the Cutler Mills Gallery, examines the exodus of the American textile industry which was the foundation of her career and artistic life. Enter the 30 Cutler St. building through the TOWER ENTRANCE. Go up the stairs, down the hall and make a left. The gallery will be on the left. Please note: There is no elevator to get to the 2nd floor.
