Warren Preservation Society Presentation

The Warren Preservation Society is proud to announce Lane Sparkman, Coordinator for the Sense of Pride program of Mosaico, as speaker at their Annual Meeting on Thursday June 23, 2011, 7pm at the Warren Methodist Church (downstairs) Church St., Warren, RI

Sense of Pride teaches children about their town -- its history, architecture and natural environment – with the goal of inspiring them to become thoughtful and active stewards of their community. Over 2675 students have participated in Sense of Pride to date.

The Warren Preservation Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit membership organization dedicated to promoting Historic Preservation in the Town of Warren, Rhode Island.  The objective of the Warren Preservation Society is to promote an interest in the history of Bristol County and Warren, Rhode Island in particular; to preserve their historic integrity and cultural resources; and to educate the public to the historic value of the area.  The all volunteer Society arranges public events, community meetings and generally advocates for the preservation of the historical culture, architecture and sense of place of Warren, RI.  For the past five years they have been involved in the successful historic restoration of the Samuel Randall House and Stingy Alley in Warren.
