"Hoppy Hour" at Blithewold: The Art of Growing Hops and Home Brewing
Learn useful tips and tricks for successful home-brewing during this fun evening in Blithewold's Carriage House.

Ever wondered how to grow hops or brew your own beer? Join Sanne Kure-Jensen for “hoppy hour” at Blithewold Mansion and find out! During the informative session, participants will learn how to cultivate, trellis, harvest, and dry hops, as well as learn interesting uses for hops’ in the landscape, as a medicinal herb, and as a beer flavoring. Learn, too, how to brew beer at home, find out which equipment is essential, and gather tips to let you produce the highest quality home-brewed beer . Then find out the best way to pour a home brew when all your efforts have paid off.
This class takes place in Blithewold’s Carriage House.
Local beer, cheese, and charcuterie will be served.
