Mount Hope Farm Appoints New Executive Director
Jennifer Bristol will be the farm's new Executive Director.

The Mount Hope Trust and Board of Trustees are pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Bristol as the new Executive Director of .
The Mount Hope Trust announced Bristol's selection on Tuesday. Bristol will be partnering with for the Mount Hope Farm, to effectively transition into her new appointment beginning April 23.
Bristol was raised in Rhode Island and has spend the past decade as senior manager for The Nature Conservancy, the leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people; she has held several leadership positions at TNC including Deputy Director for the Eastern US Conservation Region and Director of Operations for the North America Conservation Region. For the past two years she has served as Director for the Conservancy's Trustee Program, managing an integrated platform of global trustee and volunteer leadership initiatives complementary to an innovative, high-return strategic conservation agenda. As Trustee Program Director, Bristol is credited with increasing collaboration of TNC staff and volunteer leadership around key strategic and organizational issues, culminating in a Global Volunteer Leadership Summit, the largest in Conservancy history; as well as serving as lead staffer for the Trustee Finance Advisory Group, which refined and brought closure to a 5-year Financial Plan, successfully putting all TNC operating units on a sustainable footing.

She holds a master's degree in Nursing and a degree in Business Administration from Rhode island College as well as a national certification in Project Management. She is a student and teacher of Mindful Leadership, a URI Master Gardener, and is well known in RI Jazz circles as a seasoned and popular performer.

"I look forward to partnering with the Mount Hope Board and its dedicated trustees in preserving and protecting this historic and relevant place, while also building programs;resources and energy benefiting the beautiful Town of Bristol and my home state of Rhode Island."
