New Trash, Recycling Carts Arrive In Bristol
The new containers will be delivered to residents' homes in the coming weeks.
BRISTOL, RI ā New trash and recycling carts have arrived in Bristol. Over the next few weeks, the new containers will be delivered to each resident's door, one blue for recycling and one green for trash.
Automated collection will begin on March 30. Until then, residents are asked to continue to use their current trash and recycling bins.
"Thank you for your enthusiasm and cooperation with this new and exciting program!" the towns said in a statement.

During the initial roll-out period, the town is not allowing the option to swap out container sizes.
