Police Charge Selena Martinez, 21, for Eudora Gustafson's Murder

Gustafson's body was found in her home on Feb. 10.

BRISTOL, RI — Selena Martinez, 21, is charged with one count of murder after DNA evidence allegedly linked her to the death of Eudora Gustafson, Bristol police said Monday. This is a new murder charge in the case, the Attorney General's office said.

She was previously charged with possession of stolen goods, and her boyfriend, Raymond Paiva, 24 was previously charged with Gustafson's murder. He continues to be held at the ACI pending further court proceedings.

Gustafson, 66, was found deceased at her residence, 34 Sowams Drive on Feb. 10. Martinez and Paiva were shot the same night in Providence while fleeing police. Bristol police had put out a bulletin saying they were wanted for questioning in a possible homicide.
