The Annual Sheep and Fiber Festival Returns

The Eighth Annual Rhode Island Sheep and Fiber Festival takes place on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Coggeshall Farm Museum, 1 Colt Drive, Bristol. 

Join fiber and textile enthusiasts from across the Northeast at Rhode Island's only Sheep and Fiber Festival. See crafts people demonstrate traditional and contemporary fiber arts; purchase your own textile supplies, equipment, and gifts to take home; watch the hand shearing of sheep, learn a new (old) skill in one of our workshops, and learn about 18th century textile and farm work. 

Activities include:
     Sheep Shearing 
     Sheep to Shawl Demonstration
     See Sheep, Rabbits, and other Fiber Animals
     Spinning & other Craft Demonstrations
     Vendor Raffle
     Kid's Crafts & Games
     Hay Rides

The admission is $8 for adults; $5 for seniors and children (3-12); children under 3 Free. Museum members-$5 for adults; $3 for Seniors and Children (3-12); Children under 3 Free.
