This Weekend: Murder & Mayhem, Egg Hunts, Easter Bunny Sightings

Here are five things you should know heading into this weekend in Bristol and Warren.

  1. Today should be sunny with a high of 49 degrees, although the weekend may bring showers.
  2. East Bay Idol returns to the Kickemuit Middle School this Friday night at 6 pm.  See your local talent from Barrington, Warren and Bristol perform!
  3. The Easter Bunny is really getting around this weekend. There are Egg Hunts and Breakfast with the Easter Bunny events galore: St. Elizabeth Manor, the Audubon Society, Bristol Recreation Department at Blithewold; Bayside YMCA; the Children's Workshop in Warren.   For a canine twist on the traditional Easter Egg Hunt, there's a Doggy Biscuit Hunt at Potter League for Animals in Middletown on Sunday.   4. The final "Winter" concerts in the series by Opera Providence at Blithewold are this weekend, with "Murder and Mayhem."
  5. Sunday, April 1 is observed as Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week in Christian churches.
