View Finder: Friday Night Open Mic!

Friday nights are open mic nights at Warren's Coffee Depot. Come in from the cold and get your groove on with a hot coffee and cool people listening to the serene sounds of some local talent.

The Coffee Depot in Warren shows their support for local singers and songwriters every Friday with an Open Mic session presented by hosts Manny and Cathy Perry of Bristol.

The Perry's have been hosting the Open Mic sessions for eight years, three at The Coffee Depot and five at the now defunct Cafe la France in Bristol.

Warren resident and open mic participant Mark Greenbaum notes, "it takes dedication to keep these things going,"

That dedication is obvious from the line-up last Friday night, which not only showcased the superior talent of locals, but the palpable camaraderie generated between fellow artists.

Open mic sessions are Friday evening from 7 p.m. through 10 p.m.
