Warren Police Log: Driver Charged with DUI After Hitting Tree
A look at arrests made by Warren Police from Monday, July 4, through Sunday, July 10.
At approximately 7:10 p.m., on Friday, July 8, Warren police and fire officials responded to Market Street where a car had slammed into a treeĀ across the street from the Country Inn.
According to police, officers suspected that the driver was under the influence of an "intoxicating liquor and/or drug". Following a police investigation, the driver, Jonathan Waddell, 27, of 1390 Hope St., was charged with driving under the influence and for refusing to take a chemical test.Ā

- Kenneth Coelho, 22, of 36 Schoolhouse Road, was charged with violating a protective order on Monday, July 4.
- Michael Harvey, 40, of 15 Cutler St., was arrested on Monday, July 4, after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend. He was charged with felony (third offense) domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct.
- Kayne Degrenier, 20, of 15 Wheaton St., was charged with violating a protective order on Wednesday, July 6.Ā
- Joseph Carvalho, 38, of 20 Union St., was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct on Thursday, July 7.
- Dawn Quintal, 39, of 613 Main St., was picked up on a 6th District Court bench warrant on Thursday, July 7.
- Carlos Reyes, 39, of Providence, was charged with driving on a suspended license on Saturday, July 9.
- Rosa Walgner, 32, of Providence, was charged with driving on a suspended license on Sunday, July 10.
