Central Falls Man Charged With Stealing More Than $1,500: Cops

CRANSTON, RI — A Cranston man was charged with stealing more than $1,500, police said.

Darrian Phillips, 26, was arrested shortly after 8:30 p.m. Monday on a warrant charging him with larceny of more than $1,500, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Phillips was located and arrested at Harrington Hall homeless shelter in Cranston, according to the release.

"Phillips was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was held overnight pending morning arraignment/ presentment as a probation violator at Third Division District Court," the release said.
