• Charlestown approves gazebo for Ninigret Dog Park (thewesterlysun.com) — Charlestown's Town Council has approved up to $15,000 from the Ninigret Park Fund to add a shaded cedar gazebo at the heavily used Ninigret Dog Park. Longtime park advocate Tim Quillen and the Dog Park Committee will assemble the structure once permits are secured, giving year‑round visitors a more comfortable place to gather in bad weather.
