Firefighters Battle Attic Fire

Coventry Police along with firefighters from Central Coventry, Anthony, and Western Coventry dispatched to 13 Paige Drive for a house fire.

Coventry Firefighters were dispatched to 13 Paige Drive for a reported fully involved house fire. Upon arrival of Engine 7, heavy smoke was found coming from a 1.5 story house. The fire was located in the attic. An additional tanker was requested, however, 22 minutes into the incident, Command held it to Central and Anthony apparatus. The fire was knocked down quickly.

This is the second fire in 2 nights in Coventry. Last night, firefighters responded to Clark Road for an electrical fire contained to one partition.

The residents of 13 Paige Drive are being assisted by the Red Cross. There were no injuries in this incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
