Artist Gail Ahlers is making the awards for the Rhode Island Small Business Journal's 2nd Annual Entrepreneurial Women to Watch Awards.

Pawtucket, RI – Nov. 14, 2014: Ahlers Designs founder and artist Gail Ahlers, is making the awards once again for the Rhode Island Small Business Journal’s 2nd Annual Entrepreneurial Women to Watch Awards, which will be on Monday Nov. 17, at The Dorrance in Providence RI.

In keeping with tradition, artist Gail Ahlers of Ahlers Designs will be making the awards again this year. This year’s awards are a design that combines high technology materials, with reclaimed lumber, recycled Foolproof beer cans -- that are cut into flowers and embellished with genuine cultured pearls! “Many awards that are given are so generic, have no meaning and are not ecstatically pleasing. My mission is to make art, create joy and empower people,” Ahlers said.

The Annual Entrepreneurial Women to Watch Awards honors women entrepreneurs who have achieved success in their fields. This year’s winners are:
