The Portsmouth Patriots hosted on Dec. 23 at Portsmouth Abbey Rink for a night on the ice, when Coventry put their four game winning streak on the line and showcased why they are in first place in Division Two Central.
There was some hard hitting out on the rink last night, lead by No. Five, Alexander Zannella and No. Two, Nicholas Paiva. Despite the tough competition, Portsmouth did not back down easily and fought back hard right up until the end.
In the bottom of the third period, No. 22, Corey Rogers slammed in the winning goal giving Coventry their fifth straight win with a four to three victory.
