Comix at Foxwoods presents SiriusXM’s “Opie Radio” co-host and stand-up sensation, Jim Norton for a one-night-only, stand-up performance at the Fox Theater at Foxwoods on Friday, Feb. 13 at 9:00 p.m.
Jim Norton, a New Jersey native, is multi-faceted within the entertainment industry, as he has his hands in stand-up, television, radio, and is a best-selling author.
On-stage, Norton is nationally renowned for his unique stand-up routines, style and delivery, which have been dubbed “brutal honesty” comedy. Norton frequently tours the US performing at some of the most prestigious venues in the country.

In 2013, Norton’s third hour stand-up special, “American Degenerate” premiered on Epix and later aired on Netflix. Norton’s second hour-long stand-up special “Please Be Offended,” premiered on Epix in June of 2012 and was the highest-rated comedy special premiere in the network’s history. His album, “Please Be Offended” was released in 2013, and was listed as one of the Top 10 Comedy Albums of that year by Laughspin.com. “Monster Rain,” Norton’s first hour-long special, premiered on HBO in 2007.
In December of 2012 Norton released his fourth standup comedy album, “No Baby For You.” His third album, “Despicable,”was released in 2011 and debuted at #2 on the Billboard comedy charts. His other two comedy albums, “Yellow Discipline” and “Trinkets I Own Made From Gorilla Hands,” were released in 2002 and 2003 respectively. Norton is also the creator of the wildly successful, “Anti-Social Comedy” tour franchise, which brings together Jim’s headliner comedian friends on the same stage for stand-up shows.

In radio, Norton debuted an internet-based talk show on the video streaming channel VICE in June of 2014. Some of his guests include fellow comedians Dave Attell, Whitney Cummings and Gilbert Gottfried. Additionally, Norton has had other big-name celebrities on the show such as Mike Tyson, Dana White and Rick Ross.
Currently, Norton can be heard every morning as the co-host of SiriusXM’s “Opie Radio.” Norton began on the “Opie and Anthony Show” back in 2000 as a regular guest and was later an on-again, off-again guest host.
