PHOTOS: CHS Homecoming Parade
The parade traveled its new route for the first time on Saturday.
More than 250 students participated in this year's annual Homecoming parade that included floats from each of the four classes and the student council, as well as performances by the marching band, football cheerleaders and AFJROTC Color Guard.
The finalists for Homecoming King and Queen were transported in convertibles and Coventry fire trucks.
This was the first year that parade followed its new route, beginning at , then proceeding to Knotty Oak Road, Route 117, Sandy Bottom Road, Wood Street, Rathbun Street, South Main Street, Tiogue Avenue and Reservoir Road, where it concluded at the high school.
