Police: Silver Nissan Murano Hit Firefighters Memorial
Anyone with surveillance footage of the area is encouraged to contact police to help identify the vandals.

WEST WARWICK, R.I. -- Police are looking for the public's assistance in indentify the people who vandalized the firefighters memorial park on Cowesett Road over the weekend. Police say the memorial was hit by a car sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.
At 11 a.m. on Saturday, police were able to find traces of silver paint and broken pieces that they identified as coming from a Nissan Murano.

Several stones in the parked were knocked down, and the flagstone path, along with embedded memorial bricks, were damaged as well. It's not known how much it will cost to repair the damage to the stones.
Anyone with surveillance footage of the area or who has information about the vandalism is encouraged to contact West Warwick police detective at 401-827-9044.
