Rhode Island's Indoor Dog Park Hosting Dog Photos with Santa & Adoption Day

WARWICK, R.I. (November 25, 2014) – Bow chika Wow Town™ (www.bowchikawowtown.com), Rhode Island’s first and only off-leash, climate controlled, indoor dog park, with daycare and boarding is gearing up for it’s Second Annual Community Benefit.

This year they are teaming up with Santa on December 7, 2014, to offer dog owners an opportunity to have their pup’s picture taken with Santa to benefit Save One Soul Animal Rescue League (www.sosarl.org). In addition to photos with Santa, Bow chika Wow Town™ is hosting the rescue league’s Holiday Adoption Event. “It’s very rewarding to know that Bow chika Wow Town™ has become a place with whom the dog community can partner to achieve their own goals. We are thrilled to help this great organization any way we can,” says owner, Alisa Paykos-Theurer.

The photo fee is a $10 donation and includes the picture in print as well as digitally. Save One Soul was co-founded in July 2014 by two women committed to be part of the ‘No Kill’ movement that is gaining momentum across the country. “To date, we have facilitated 134 dog adoptions by connecting the dogs from areas of our country that are most at risk to be euthanized to New England families looking to add a pet to their lives,” says co-founder, Heidi Durand-Lenz. Not only will attendees be able to meet dozens of potential family members, but they will also have the opportunity to have canine health or behavior questions answered by on hand vets and trainers.
