With more snow and sleet forecasted to hit Rhode Island over the weekend, drivers are reminded to always clear all snow from their vehicles or risk receiving an $85 fine.

Snow covered vehicles create a safety hazard for both the driver and other vehicles, as visibility is reduced and large chunks of ice and snow can damage nearby cars.
