11 Counts of Credit Card Theft, Fugitive Charge: Cranston Police Log

Someone was also caught stealing from the Burlington Coat Factory on Garfield Avenue, according to the Cranston police arrest log.

CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between March 4 and March 7.

March 4

4:46 p.m. — Dunia Carranza, 45, of Cranston, was charged with disorderly conduct after a call for service in the 10th block of Old Park Avenue.

March 5

12:37 p.m. — David Diaz, 19, of Cranston, was charged with vandalism and disorderly conduct.

12:37 p.m. — Danishia Diaz, 51, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

March 6

12:22 a.m. — Tajah Manning, 46, of Providence, was charged on a warrant with shoplifting from the Burlington Coat Factory at 310 Garfield Ave.

12:53 a.m. — Toka Kahn-Clary, 29, of Cranston, was charged with fugitive from justice stemming from an arrest warrant out of Brewster, Massachusetts, on a carrying a weapon prohibited-firearm charge. Police said the arrest stemmed from a car stop on Reservoir Avenue at Beckwith Street.

8:22 a.m. — Karina Sanchez, 25, of Pawtucket, was charged with reckless driving/eluding police. Police said Sanchez turned herself in on an arrest warrant.

3:09 p.m. — Yashia Encarnacion, 35, of Manhattan, New York, was charged with five counts of forgery and counterfeiting in general, five counts of possession of a counterfeit bill or note, 11 counts of theft-obtaining credit card (felony), six counts of possession of false identification, identity fraud and giving a false document to an agent/public official. Police said the arrest came after a call for service from the TD Bank on Phenix Avenue.

March 7

12:22 a.m. — Braian J Mejia Vasquez, 24, of Cranston, was charged with domestic assault with a dangerous weapon.

6:07 a.m. — Maria Cardenas Flores, 25, of Cranston, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct.

5:02 p.m. — Kristen Zannella, 52, of Johnston, was charged with obtaining money under false pretenses and access to a computer for fraudulent purposes. Police said the arrest stemmed from a FLOCK camera alert and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Budlong Road.

6:38 p.m. — Isabela Monteiro, 20, of Pawtucket, was charged with disorderly conduct based on a prior incident on Ausdale Road.
