Alex and Ani held a successful clothing drive over the holiday season for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State! Charity By Design, Customer & Employee Engagement Manager, Kara Turenne dropped off several bags of clothing from their Holiday Clothing Drive. “In 2013 alone, Alex and Ani employees have volunteered 672 hours of their time. It’s a wonderful way to give back to the community and really encompasses how valuable the non-profits we work with are.”Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State assists companies throughout Rhode Island and Southeastern Connecticut with setting up year-round clothing drives as a onetime event or by hosting one of their many purple donations bins. The gently used clothing and household items donated are used to help fund BBBSOS’s mentoring programs thanks to a community partnership with Savers.
