Providence Man Charged With DUI: Cops

CRANSTON, RI — A Providence man was arrested in Cranston on a driving under the influence charge, police said.

Johan Polanco, 26, was pulled over shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday on Cranston Street in Cranston, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Polanco was also charged with refusing to submit to a chemical test, the release said.

Polanco was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned by a justice of the peace and "released to the custody of a responsible adult," according to police.
