Cranston Man Arrested At Bally's Lincoln Casino, Charged With Larceny: Cops

The Cranston man was arrested by the Gaming Enforcement Unit, police said.

LINCOLN, RI — A Cranston man was arrested at Bally's Lincoln Casino on a larceny charge, police said.

Christopher Charette, 36, was arrested about 11:30 a.m. Thursday by the Rhode Island State Police Gaming Enforcement Unit, the state police said in a media release.

Charette was charged with larceny of less than $1,500, according to the release.

"The arrest was the result of a larceny investigation conducted by members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit," the release said. "Mr. Charette was taken into custody at Bally's Twin River Lincoln Casino Resort, transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing, and then transported to Third District Court for arraignment."
