Cranston Man Wanted On NY Grand Larceny Charge Nabbed: Cops

CRANSTON, RI — A Cranston man wanted on charges of grand larceny and burglary in New York was captured, police said.

Mishquamatokqs Fayerweather, 36, was arrested about 3 p.m. Monday by the Rhode Island State Police Auto Theft Task Force and Adult Correctional Institutions Investigations Unit, the state police said in a media release.

Fayerweather's arrest was the "result of an investigation by members of the Auto Theft Task Force," the release said.

Fayerweather was processed at state police headquarters and taken to the ACI pending a morning arraignment at Third Division District Court, according to the release.
