JUNE 27, 11 am to 1pm  "1776 Cranston: Movers & Shakers and Ordinary People" presentation by Cranston Historical Cemeteries Commission at Gov. Sprague Mansion, 1351 Cranston St.

We all know about leaders like George Washington and Nathanael Greene, and places like Bunker Hill, Valley Forge and Yorktown.  But the home front served too.  We look at some of the men from Cranston who fought for the revolution and what was going on in the then town of Cranston in the late 1770s. This presentation is being made by John Hill, Chairman of the Cranston Historical Cemeteries Commission as our contribution to the "Cranston Celebrates 250" festivities. Accessible/parking in back of mansion. We hope to see you there!
