Can't Take the Stress Anymore? Cranston Library Offers Adult Coloring
The calming benefits of coloring are now available at Cranston Public Library's Auburn Branch, Katy Dorchies says.

CRANSTON, RI—Weekend's can offer a good break, but sometimes they're over before it seems they even started. Cranston Public Library has come up with a way to start the break early and get into the relaxation mood.
Cranston Public Library’s Auburn Branch is kicking off the new year with a new program: an adult coloring drop-in. Titled “Color and Calm,” the next session is Friday, Feb. 10 and will continue on alternating Fridays from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m.
“In the last few years, many libraries around the country have begun adult coloring programs, which have proven to be very popular,” says Auburn Branch Librarian Karen McGrath. “Auburn is starting this program now in response to patron requests for a way to decompress and ease into the weekend.”
