Changes Made To Grab And Go Meals: Coronavirus In Cranston
The Cranston School Department has adjusted the schedule for grab-and-go meals while schools are closed.
CRANSTON, RI — The Cranston School Department has made some changes to its grab-and-go meal program. All Rhode Island schools are currently closed in an effort to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus in the state.
The new schedule, effective Friday, was made to help keep students and their parents safe, the department said. Meals can be picked up for any student under the age of 18, no ID required. Students must be present, as meals will not be given to parents on behalf of students.
Meals will be distributed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following schools:
