Collecting Black Americana - An Evening at Stages of Freedom with Bruneau and Co. Auctioneers
"CollectingBlack Americana", will be presented by Stages of Freedom and Bruneau
and Co. Auctioneers on Thursday, October 19th, at 5:30pm at the Stages
of Freedom space at 10 Westminster Street, downtown Providence.
The evening is designed to discuss collectibles, fine art and
antiques of 19th & 20th century Black Americana. Ray Rickman,
director of Stages of Freedom, will talk about the museum and its
educational focus. Kevin Bruneau & Travis Landry of Bruneau and Co.
Auctioneerswill discuss historical, collectible items and the type of
items that are popular on the international auction market.

Bruneau provides estate, appraisal, consignment and auction services,
coordinating placement and sales on nine international internet platforms, from a gallery base in Cranston, RI.
Individuals are asked to come to the free event with an item, or a
photo of an item, for a verbal appraisal. The event is free, but
contributions are encouraged to support Swim Empowerment, providing
swimming lessons for African American youth. Seating is limited and
