Cranston Customers Impacted by Cox Widespread Email Outage

Cox Communications has reported outages with their email system that impact customers in the Midwest and East Coast regions.  Cranston customers report they have been impacted as part of the widespread issue.

On Twitter, Kate Burt ‏(@KateKhronicles) called the outage "exasperating" 

She said a similar situation happened a few years ago and after her account was restored, she found all her emails and folders were lost.  Burt said she is done with Cox.

Dawn Giarrusso said on Twitter that her e-mail has been out in Cranston since Friday afternoon.

The company said it is unable to provide an estimated time for recovery, but will work around the clock until service is restored.
