
Cranston Firefighters made quick work of a fire at 263 East St. Tuesday morning.
The call came in at around 9:45 a.m. and crews arrived to find smoke billowing from the house.
The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes and nobody was hurt in the blaze.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Initial reports suggested that the fire started in the attic.

The single-story 1,000 square foot ranch was built in 1976 and is owned by Michelle Mello, according to city records.
