Cranston Man Arrested In Connection To Shooting
A man got shot while trying to go to a convenience store to get help for a stab wound.
CRANSTON, RI — Cranston police arrested a man in connection to a Wednesday night shooting outside a convenience store.
Michael McCombs, of Cranston, was arrested just after midnight Thursday and charged with assault and or battery charge, discharging a firearm when committing a crime of violence and carrying a pistol or revolver without a permit.
Police told NBC 10 a man was stabbed in Providence Wednesday and tried to get help at a convenience store on Dyer Avenue in Cranston. But the victim was shot after exiting the store.
