Cranston Man Gets Surprise $1,040 for Dunkin' Tax Day Giveaway

Albert Ashukian is one lucky guy.

Cranston's Albert Ashukian was in line at Dunkin' Donuts yesterday when he suddenly found himself in the right place at the right time.

Ashukian was handed enough Dunkin' Donuts cards to pay for his coffee for the next year and then some at the Dunkin' at 1678 Post Road in Warwick.

The gift was part of the coffee and donut chain's Tax Day Giveaway promotion.

Ashukian was in line at 10:40 a.m. and his $1,040 in Dunkin' Donuts gift cards represent the 1040 tax form that most of us use to file our taxes.

Will Gilbert, co-host of WPRI's The Rhode Show, was dressed up as a crew member to award the prize.
