Cranston Man's Photo is March Contest Winner
Raymond Cooney's photo of Betsey Williams cottage in the snow was picked by Washington Trust as its March winner of the I Luv Rhode Island photo contest.

“My dad used to take me to the Park, and told me that Betsey Williams was a descendent of Roger Williams. It was fun to go back there as an adult,” said Raymond Cooney, a Cranston resident. “If you’re looking for something that is Rhode Island and only Rhode Island, this is certainly it.”
Washington Trust and RI Monthly Magazine announced that Cooney of Cranston is the March winner of I Luv Rhode Island’s 2013 photo contest. The theme of the March contest was “Only in Rhode Island” and Cooney’s photograph depicted Betsey Williams’ cottage.
The I Luv RI photo contest is sponsored by Washington Trust in conjunction with Rhode Island Monthly. Photographers may enter by sending their favorite Rhode Island photo to: www.rimonthly.com/ILUVRI, or by visiting www.iluvri.com.
